AdSense Vs Bidvertiser

AdSense and Bidvertiser are one of the top Ad providers that are competing in the internet, and a lot of people now are confused on whose the better Ad provider. Here are some comparisons that I have made because I too have a Bidvertiser account.
AdSense Vs Bidvertiser

** AdSense Ad's are based on the content of your site, so if your site has a rich content basically it would generate relevant Ad's while on Bidvertiser their Ad's are somewhat not related like the Ad's that I got, it only displays Ad's that says "Your Add here". I think on Bidvertiser you get to bid for some Good Ad's.

**AdSense has an easy to use system, they show the CTR, CPR , Earnings, and Ad clicks that your Ad has generated for you to know how well your ad's are performing and if you need some improvements while on Bidvertiser they only show the amount of money that you have made.. so you cant personally monitor the performance of your Ad's.

**AdSense ad's can be edited , I mean the font colors, borders etch so that they can blend well in your account while on Bidvertiser you cant edit the colors, borders etc.

**AdSense offers $.3- $.5 per ad clicks while Bidvertiser offers .03- $.05! In short, AdSense pays 10x more that Bidvertiser!

**AdSense is used most than Bidvertiser, you can see it on the internet, Google Ad's are most likely to be found than Bidvertiser.

**So far? I'm earning more with my AdSense account than Bidvertiser.

Make Money with Bidvertiser?

Due to my inability to get re-signed up with adsense, which in make money terms is a bit of a disaster, I’ve had to look at alternative PPC schemes as another way to make money online with my blogs.

I know that in earlier posts I was dead against using PPC on my blogs to make money, citing the downside of losing visitors from your site for the sake of a few cents where those clicks could be better served with affiliate products which make money in many dollars in affiliate commissions.

But my mode of thinking has come full circle and I’m giving PPC to make money another try in the form of Bidvertiser.

I know a lot of people sneer at Bidvertiser as a very poor cousin of adsense as a way to make money online and for many reasons it certainly is. But it’s like they’ve looked at a load of cars in the showroom and picked the red Ferrari before looking under the bonnets (hoods for those of you in the US) to see what lurks beneath.

Well I can tell you that when you give Bidvertiser a closer inspection, it’s not half as bad as everyone makes out. For one, the cost per click that you can generate is generally much higher than adsense when you set it up properly if you really want to make money with it.

What?

That’s right. You get to select whether you approve or decline the ads your blog will display. That means you can effectively ignore the 5 cents per click ads and just display the higher denomination ads to make money.

How do you know how much each ad pays?

Aha! Did that get your attention? You can’t do that with adsense, can you?

Shall I tell you how?

You’ll have to look back here in this Make Money blog for future posts for that delicious snippet of make money information - after I’ve written a few more paid reviews (hahahahaha!).

No, seriously… I will write a mini-series on how to make money with Bidvertiser right here in this blog over the next few days - and let you into some secrets about how to make money with Bidvertiser that most bloggers are unaware of.

If you want to sign up with Bidvertiser, you could of course make me happy and click on their small banner in my sidebar as I make money as an affiliate too - every little helps - especially as I’m going to the trouble of writing what will amount to a valuable source of income information for you - for free!

The next instalment to follow soon…

A little more on Bidvertiser

I got a request to do a sponsored review for Bidvertiser for Advertisers. Requests like this are always fun, and this one started off even better, since the people at Bidvertiser really get how this market works. They encouraged me to sign up for their referral program and use the code in there to link to them, because that would give new advertisers a nice $20 in free clicks. Apparently they do not mind at all that I will get paid for that as well, which shows that they really like to be reviewed!

I must say I'm pretty impressed with their interface, it looks nice, reports well and fast and does pretty much everything you'd want it to do. Searching for cars gave me a load of sites on which you can advertise, and quite a few subcategories to do even more targeted niche advertising.

After I had selected a few for my car advertisement, I got the option to set up geotargetting. I chose US only for this testrun, but having the option to target your ads as easy as this is pretty nice. After that I got the possibility to set my bid prices, and what I found really good to see is that they're not inflating expected clicks. If they expect you to get 12 clicks a month from a site and tell that honestly, I'm impressed.

I think that using Bidvertiser you can get some pretty nice exposure if you pick your sites right (there is some crap in there, just skip through that), for a pretty low amount of money.

Overview : Bidvertier is a PPC or “Pay Per Click” affiliate program for online publishers and is essentially the same sort of affiliate program as AdBrite or Google AdSense with the exception that they pay publishers using PayPal instead of by check and their minimum amount for a publisher to cash out earnings is $10. The last two features alone will attract Bidvertiser a loyal following from the home based and non corporate, personal publishers seeking to monetize their websites.

Click Fraud : It appears Bidvertiser has a similar auditing system to AdBrite which prevents most click fraud by eliminating duplicate IP’s and other auditing at a secondary level before earnings are cleared for cashout.

Tips : As with any PPC affiliate program, or “contextual advertising”, blending in the color of the ads with your site will definitely increase your performnce.

Customer Service : Bidvertiser is relatively new to us and we have had no reason to contact support thus far. They offer an online support form but phone contact numbers are listed in a quick to find “contacts” menu.

ABP Opinion
Bidvertiser appears as though it has a tremendous amount of potential and a general appeal to small to mid sized publishers. We’re just beginning to experiment with our own campaigns using their publisher’s program and will be updating this blog with more information on our experiences with Bidvertiser in the future.

* Earn Highest Possible Amount From Every Click. This is one feature that sets BidVertiser apart from the others and makes it worth closer look. Unlike Google or Yahoo to get an ad displayed on your blog – advertiser MUST have highest bid to occupy the precious ads real estate. This ensures that you get paid maximum available amount for each click.

* Ad banners variety and flexibility. BidVertiser provides you with all the standard sizes for ads to be displayed on your blog but here is something from my personal experience (yes, I use the service on one of my sites :) ) – you can create Ad Banner with your own dimensions. This comes very handy when you need to ensure that Ad banner occupies maximum allowed space and provides highest click through and addresses an issue with non-standard sizes of some blog templates. Give advertisers a reason to display ads on your blog – provide them with maximum available exposure.

* Control you advertisements and track performance. BidVertiser allows you to block unwanted ads from being displayed on your blog, which is very important feature in my opinion. While we all would like to earn – quality of offerings and protection of integrity of the blog should still be the primary goal. If a specific ad doesn’t fit your blog vision – block it. You can also easily generate performance statistics to see number of page impressions, clicks, click-through rate and your total earnings.

* Pay Outs as low as $10. Yes, you don’t have sit and wait for your paycheck anymore. With one of the lowest payouts BidVertiser provides another great reason for consideration to use their service. As long as you have PayPal account – you money delivered fast and on time.

Bidvertiser

A somewhat different approach to pay-per-click advertising is offered by an entity called Bidvertiser. Although it is difficult to fit Bidvertiser into one of the neat little slots of types of search engine, it does offer another way to participate in pay-per-click advertising where you, the advertiser, have more control than normal in where your ads appear.

Bidvertiser is a subsidiary of Bpath, established in 1997 as an international services provider for websites. Bpath’s approach to business is to develop and offer private label website functions for leading web hosting and domain registration providers. With more than half a million webmasters in its network (over 80% of whom are small business concerns), Bpath offers international solutions that may fit the small business model in the United States.

Bidvertiser is called an “onsite bid-per-click” option that is a “3rd generation bidding-based marketplace connecting web publishers with advertisers.” As such, its main concentration is on linking together advertisers who wish to become involved in partnerships, affiliateships, or referral-type programs.

However, it does offer a bid-per-click process that is rather unique. Most every aspect of the model for advertisers who wish to place pay-per-click ads on the Bidvertiser network is standard, except that the advertisers themselves choose which websites they wish their ads to be place on. As they describe the process, “Place your ads on sites of your choice, set your pay per click pricing and pay only for clicks you receive.”

Sounds easy and simple, and it is easy and simple to set up. Advanced tools are included, such as auto bidding to adjust your cost per click to just 1 cent above the nearest competitor, but for the most part, the offering looks fairly standard and not as robust as other search engines in its league. However, it does offer international advertising in a well-developed online marketplace, especially for France, so if your target audience is international, it is worth investigating.

However, user comments are generally not very favorable about Bidvertiser. It is difficult to find postings citing a great experience with this search engine, but quite a few comments about being disappointed in the conversion results and general experience. This is not uncommon with smaller search engines, and particularly with one that is striving to serve an international marketplace at the same time.

It is an interesting concept that appeals to a lot of advertisers -- being able to choose which sites they want to bid to have their ad on -- but until their available sites become more numerous and varied, it will be difficult for Bidvertiser to be one of bPath's leading ventures.
