A little more on Bidvertiser

I got a request to do a sponsored review for Bidvertiser for Advertisers. Requests like this are always fun, and this one started off even better, since the people at Bidvertiser really get how this market works. They encouraged me to sign up for their referral program and use the code in there to link to them, because that would give new advertisers a nice $20 in free clicks. Apparently they do not mind at all that I will get paid for that as well, which shows that they really like to be reviewed!

I must say I'm pretty impressed with their interface, it looks nice, reports well and fast and does pretty much everything you'd want it to do. Searching for cars gave me a load of sites on which you can advertise, and quite a few subcategories to do even more targeted niche advertising.

After I had selected a few for my car advertisement, I got the option to set up geotargetting. I chose US only for this testrun, but having the option to target your ads as easy as this is pretty nice. After that I got the possibility to set my bid prices, and what I found really good to see is that they're not inflating expected clicks. If they expect you to get 12 clicks a month from a site and tell that honestly, I'm impressed.

I think that using Bidvertiser you can get some pretty nice exposure if you pick your sites right (there is some crap in there, just skip through that), for a pretty low amount of money.

Overview : Bidvertier is a PPC or “Pay Per Click” affiliate program for online publishers and is essentially the same sort of affiliate program as AdBrite or Google AdSense with the exception that they pay publishers using PayPal instead of by check and their minimum amount for a publisher to cash out earnings is $10. The last two features alone will attract Bidvertiser a loyal following from the home based and non corporate, personal publishers seeking to monetize their websites.

Click Fraud : It appears Bidvertiser has a similar auditing system to AdBrite which prevents most click fraud by eliminating duplicate IP’s and other auditing at a secondary level before earnings are cleared for cashout.

Tips : As with any PPC affiliate program, or “contextual advertising”, blending in the color of the ads with your site will definitely increase your performnce.

Customer Service : Bidvertiser is relatively new to us and we have had no reason to contact support thus far. They offer an online support form but phone contact numbers are listed in a quick to find “contacts” menu.

ABP Opinion
Bidvertiser appears as though it has a tremendous amount of potential and a general appeal to small to mid sized publishers. We’re just beginning to experiment with our own campaigns using their publisher’s program and will be updating this blog with more information on our experiences with Bidvertiser in the future.

* Earn Highest Possible Amount From Every Click. This is one feature that sets BidVertiser apart from the others and makes it worth closer look. Unlike Google or Yahoo to get an ad displayed on your blog – advertiser MUST have highest bid to occupy the precious ads real estate. This ensures that you get paid maximum available amount for each click.

* Ad banners variety and flexibility. BidVertiser provides you with all the standard sizes for ads to be displayed on your blog but here is something from my personal experience (yes, I use the service on one of my sites :) ) – you can create Ad Banner with your own dimensions. This comes very handy when you need to ensure that Ad banner occupies maximum allowed space and provides highest click through and addresses an issue with non-standard sizes of some blog templates. Give advertisers a reason to display ads on your blog – provide them with maximum available exposure.

* Control you advertisements and track performance. BidVertiser allows you to block unwanted ads from being displayed on your blog, which is very important feature in my opinion. While we all would like to earn – quality of offerings and protection of integrity of the blog should still be the primary goal. If a specific ad doesn’t fit your blog vision – block it. You can also easily generate performance statistics to see number of page impressions, clicks, click-through rate and your total earnings.

* Pay Outs as low as $10. Yes, you don’t have sit and wait for your paycheck anymore. With one of the lowest payouts BidVertiser provides another great reason for consideration to use their service. As long as you have PayPal account – you money delivered fast and on time.
